Farnsworth D-15 Test

๐Ÿ“‹ How to Use This Test

๐ŸŽฏ What is the Farnsworth D-15 Test?

A color vision assessment tool to detect and classify color vision deficiencies. 15 colored caps must be arranged in order of gradual color change โ€” performed separately for each eye.

๐Ÿ“ Test Instructions

  1. Enter your name for personalized results
  2. Right Eye first: cover your left eye, arrange the caps, check your order, then confirm
  3. Left Eye next: cover your right eye and repeat
  4. View & download both eye results โ€” each includes an automated clinical analysis

๐Ÿ” Understanding Results

  • Protan (Red) โ€” red-green, primarily reduced red sensitivity
  • Deutan (Green) โ€” red-green, primarily reduced green sensitivity
  • Tritan (Blue) โ€” blue-yellow discrimination

The algorithm counts how many arrangement steps fall along each confusion axis. A high score on one axis indicates a likely deficiency in that color channel.

โš ๏ธ Important: This is a screening tool only. It does not replace a professional eye examination.
