Laser Source & Wavelengths
The Integre Pro uses a solid-state laser diode and cavity with multiple wavelength configurations available:
Yellow-red configuration: 561 nm and 670 nm
Yellow configuration: 561 nm only
Green configuration: 532 nm only
Green-red configuration: 532 nm and 670 nm
Power Output
Power at the fiber port varies by wavelength: Red delivers 1 watt, Yellow delivers 1.5 watts, and Green delivers 1.5 watts
Exposure Time
Pattern Scanning mode ranges from 10 to 30 milliseconds, while SingleSpot mode ranges from 10 milliseconds to 8.0 seconds
Spot Size
Pattern Scanning mode offers spot sizes from 100 to 500 micrometers continuously variable, while SingleSpot mode ranges from 50 to 1000 micrometers continuously variable
Repeat Mode
SingleSpot mode features repeat intervals from 50 milliseconds to 1.0 seconds, while Pattern Scanning mode does not have a repeat mode
Physical Dimensions
The system measures 62 x 76 x 47 cm (24 x 30 inches in H x W x D) The unit weighs 32 kg (70.55 lb)
Clinical/Scientific Features
Treatment Modes
The system offers two primary photocoagulation modes:
SingleSpot Technology Characterized by long pulse durations of 100-200 milliseconds, the SingleSpot mode offers customizable shooting modes (Single, repeat, continuous) for thermal treatments such as focal laser photocoagulation to seal leaking blood vessels
Pattern Scanning Technology (Integre® Pro Scan model) Pattern scanning uses short pulse durations of 10-20 milliseconds and offers advantages over conventional photocoagulation including less heat diffusion to the retina and choroid, less damage to the retinal nerve fiber layer, more comfortable treatment better tolerated by patients, and extremely fast treatment enabling full PRP in one session
Optical System
The Integre Pro features a proprietary patented cavity design manufactured from highly stable, thermally-matched materials designed to withstand material warping and fatigue, delivering uniform energy distribution across the full diameter of the spot from beginning to end of exposure
The True Spot optical system offers a uniform, sharp-edged top hat beam on the retina with low power density at the cornea, allowing selection of any spot size ranging from 50 to 1000 microns
Slit Lamp Design
The purpose-built slit lamp is optimized for posterior segment use, featuring a 10-degree stereoscopic angle that provides better depth perception and a wider peripheral view, along with high-contrast imaging and optimal illumination of the fundus
